Highland Archaeology Services started trading on 13 April 2004. Since then the company has grown and served a large and varied range of clients.

We have a growing network of freelance and specialist archaeologists who enable us to provide excellent geographical cover and a range of skills.

We are increasingly busy with the full range of projects from environmental assessment work and heritage consultancy to small scale watching briefs on new house-sites.  We are also keen to develop our community archaeology work and are working on some important initiatives.

In 2008 we achieved independent recognition of our health and safety policies through the UK Government's Contractors Health and Safety Scheme (CHAS). 

Clients are protected financially through the company’s comprehensive professional indemnity and public liability insurances.
